Another Burkinshaw Wedding!

Mike and Jessica drove 16 hours on Tuesday in order to be in Utah for her younger sister Sarah's wedding on Friday.  My sister Kris called me early Friday morning on her way to work to report that the temperature in Salt Lake was a chilling 32 degrees and it was snowing!  She said it looked like a blizzard and not a good day for a wedding.  Yikes, the worst nightmare for the mother of the bride!  Poor Stacy ...I would have been freaking out!!!  Luckily the wedding wasn't until later in the afternoon.  By then the snow had stopped and the temperature had warmed up.

Kris works near the Salt Lake temple where the wedding took place so she made a quick dash over to say hi to her cute great-nieces and nephews a.k.a. my adorable grand children!  She sent me a text with the following pictures:
 "Look who I'm cuddling with!"

Kris said: "They were so cute and friendly. They crawled right up on my lap. They kept saying you don't look like our grandma but you sound just like her!"

Uncle Eric was in charge of all 5 of his nieces and nephews while Mike and Jessica attended the wedding.  Looks like he has his hands full ...but they couldn't be in better hands!

Due to the colder weather and the many weddings going on, the waiting area was packed full of people.  Jillian didn't let the big crowds phase her. Eric said she was happily entertaining herself in a world of her own!  Harrison was there too but sleeping soundly in his stroller.
This is a picture Jess took of Harrison on Tuesday during their drive to Utah.  It was also his 2 month birthday!

I'm sad that I wasn't able to be there to see all of them but glad to have pictures of the special day.  Congratulations Sarah and Zach and all the Burkinshaw family!
